In the rush of daily practice, it is easy to feel like you are operating in isolation. But here at MCMS, our mission is to ensure that you never have to face these challenges alone.

Over the past few months, I've had the privilege of connecting with many of you to build a more robust, supportive, and active professional home. Looking back at what we have accomplished together recently, I am incredibly proud of how our local medical community has rallied.

A Spring of Reconnection and Collaboration

We kicked off our spring with our General Membership Meeting and Installation, which was a spectacular opportunity to celebrate our shared achievements, welcome our new CEO, and reconnect in person. Seeing the room filled with so much collective expertise and passion was a powerful reminder of the energy that defines Montgomery County's physicians.

We know that supporting you means supporting your entire practice. That is why this year we launched our Practice Manager Working Group. Managing the business side of medicine has never been tougher, and this group is designed to take the pressure off. By organizing quarterly events, we are actively creating space for practice managers to share operational resources, solve staffing puzzles, and trade strategies to keep your offices running smoothly.

Amplifying Your Voice and Needs

Advocacy is at the core of what we do, but effective advocacy starts with listening. Earlier this year we hosted a virtual Physician Listening Session to hear directly from you about the daily pressures, administrative burdens, and wellness challenges you are facing.

By aligning our local county efforts with the statewide advocacy of MedChi, we ensure your daily frustrations are translated into real legislative and regulatory pushback.
