Meet GZP Medical Realty, Our Newest Physician Connect Partner

We are glad to welcome Gittleson Zuppas Papantoniou (GZP) Medical Realty to the MCMS Physician Connect partner program. For more than 35 years, GZP has worked exclusively in medical and dental real estate across DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Medical space is all they do, so they understand what a practice needs, from exam room layout and plumbing to parking and patient access.

Michael Friedlander and Andrew Papantoniou lead the relationship with our members, and their message is simple. If you have a question about your space, your lease, or buying a medical office, call them. When they represent your practice, they advocate for your interests through the whole transaction, whether you are renewing a lease, finding new space, weighing whether to buy a medical condo, or just trying to understand the lease you already have. In most lease and purchase deals, their fee is paid by the landlord or seller, and they explain the arrangement upfront.

Their advice on timing is worth repeating. The best time to reach out is earlier than most practices think. If your lease expires in the next two to three years, now is the time to start comparing options and negotiating, because waiting until the final months usually means less leverage.
