Looking for Five Practices to Help Solve the Prior Auth Problem
One of the biggest frustrations we hear from physicians is the growing burden of prior authorizations. That's why I'm excited to share an opportunity for five Montgomery County practices to help shape a potential solution.
MCMS is partnering with MedChi to identify five member practices to participate in a pilot evaluation of prospective prior authorization software providers. Participating practices will have the opportunity to test these platforms in a real-world setting, provide valuable feedback on usability and workflow, and help determine which solution could best support physicians across Maryland.
This is your chance to be at the forefront of an initiative designed to reduce the time and administrative burden associated with prior authorizations while ensuring that any future implementation reflects the needs of practicing physicians.
If your practice is interested in participating, please send an email to jbryant@montgomerymedicine.org. We expect interest to exceed the number of available spots, so we encourage you to let us know as soon as possible.
Thank you for helping us advocate for practical solutions that allow physicians to spend less time on paperwork and more time caring for patients.
Sincerely,
Alan Gonzalez Cota, M.D.
