The Patient Action Network (PAN) of Montgomery County is a program of the Montgomery County Medical Society (MCMS). PAN's mission is to enhance the partnership between patients and physicians through education, collaboration, and action on important healthcare issues.
MCMS will send updates and action alerts throughout the year about healthcare issues which affect patients and physicians. Through education, dialogue, and action, patients and physicians will advocate for the reduction and/or elimination of health insurer-established barriers to access timely appropriate medical care. This will enhance physicians’ professional satisfaction due to the reduction in administrative burdens and strengthen the physician-patient relationship.
We have provided a toolkit for you to use in your office, e-newsletter, and social media advertisements. Through these promotions, patients will have the information they need to join the network.
