Member Sections
The Women in Medicine Committee works to provide women physicians with section specific opportunities for engagement, particularly through networking and community involvement.
The committee plans at least two networking opportunities per year in the spring and autumn. Attendees are provided with contact lists from the event.
The committee also takes on other projects as requested. Past projects included the creation of a list of language proficiencies among fellow women physician members for referral purposes.
The Early and Mid-Career Physicians Committee strives to connect early and mid-career physicians with needed resources to thrive in Montgomery County’s medical community, including through referral development, financial guidance, and by providing platforms through which they can promote their medical expertise and interests.

Past events have included a Speed Referral Development Night, MEDTalks (like TEDTalks, for local physicians,) and a seminar on financial planning for physicians working to establish themselves in the county and their career.
